Each day, more progress is made on the future home of The Mace Family Watchable Wildlife Area. So far, more than 5.5 million tons of material have been mined from the area. That’s enough material to cover all of Medford in 15 inches of rock and dirt! Around 120 truckloads of dirt are mined per day on average, with 10 trucks actively working the site. Day by day, truckload by truckload, Bob Mace’s vision for a beautiful nature preserve and wildlife sanctuary to be enjoyed by the public continues to take shape. Check back often for more updates!
